Discount not showing up on Xbox Game Pass for PC?

I have The Outer Worlds through the Xbox Game Pass for PC and just upgraded to the monthly tier from the beta, I heard that you could get a 10% off of the new Peril on Gorgon DLC that released today but after logging in, upgrading my plan and restarting
the launcher, it sill only shows the original price of $14.99. Since I have the game through the game pass and did not fully buy it, does that exempt me from the DLC discount? Do I need to fully buy the game to get the DLC discount?

Hi, OP here, just checked the xbox game pass app and the price has been updated to
$13.49 for the discount! Leaving this comment here for others who are interested!

It's to show that you can get a discount on them with Game Pass, not that they're included with Game Pass.

I think games typically do leave Gamepass at the end of the month. That game could have been an exception?

Just to clarify there are 3 services on Xbox...

Xbox Live Gold: give you access to online multiplayer, Games With Gold, discounts and other promos.

Xbox Game Pass (console): Give you access to a catalog of 100+ games that you can play and discounts for those games.

The third one is:

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate: that give you all the benefits of Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass (console) plus give you access to Xbox Game Pass (Pc)

So, the best option is Xbox Game Pass Ultimate!

Xbox gold allows you to play online, gives you 4 free games a month (2 Xbox 360 and 2 Xbox One), and weekly discounts on games.

Game Pass allows you access to games from the game pass library without having to buy them all individually. You also get a discount if you decide to purchase the games.

The subscriptions are different, but you can also purchase Game Pass Ultimate which includes both plus Game Pass for PC and would be cheaper.
