Discord streaming option not showing up

Hello again,

There is not an option to uninstall discord from the Xbox Series X. Discord does not show up as an app, as it is integrated directly into the party chat functionality. Are you suggesting that I unlink the discord account?

When streaming on Discord from your Xbox, your friends can indeed watch your streams. However, there are a few important points to consider:

- Pairing Xbox Account: Sometimes, your friends may encounter a prompt asking them to pair their Xbox account. This doesn't mean that only people with an Xbox account can watch your streams. Instead, it's related to the setup process for streaming from your Xbox to Discord.

- Stream to Discord Feature: Discord has introduced a feature called "Stream to Discord", which allows you to stream your Xbox gameplay directly to Discord. This feature was initially available to Xbox Insiders and is now accessible to all Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One console users. Here's how it works:

- Connect Your Xbox Profile to Discord:

- If you haven't already connected your Xbox account to Discord, follow these steps:

- Open Discord on your desktop or mobile.

- Go to User Settings > Connections.

- Look for the Xbox logo and click it.

- Sign in with your Microsoft account.

- Once connected, you're all set up!

- Streaming Process:

- While connected to a Discord voice channel or call on your Xbox:

- Press the Xbox button on your controller.

- Navigate to the Parties & Chats tab.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

To stream your Xbox to Discord without your headset's audio being picked up by the Xbox, you can use Discord's native streaming feature on Xbox and adjust the chat mixer settings to output only to the headset.

Please link your discord and Xbox accounts. Make sure your Xbox account and Discord account are linked.

And then log into your Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One device with your Xbox account connected to your Discord account.

Press the Xbox button on the controller to open the console's guide.

Navigate to "Parties & chats" and select "Discord" from the menu.

Select the Discord server and the server's voice channel you want to stream to.

Though to complicate things further, the Xbox One DOES show up when I go to "Media Streaming options" under Network and Sharing Center and show devices on Local network... it is set to "Allowed". But it only shows up in the one screen, and not from the devices
manager or as a "Play To" option.

I myself have had this same issue. If all parties were in an xbox live party the stream would be able to hear them. The other options to allow it is that some people use an el gato or discord while streaming. It is a frustrating experience that hopefully
will be resolved better one day.
