Discord streaming audio issues

There is no setting to record Discord voice chat. As Discord voice channel audio can’t be broadcasted through Xbox live streaming either

no burden, they can install discord on their phones and you can all live chat in your own free discord server, it basically works the same way as whatsapp group calling, all you have to do is push your audio from your disord to the stream. plus the audio quality on discord is a thousand times better than in game party or xbox live party chats.

or just have everyone use discord from any device they have and you have it on pc, much easier solution and no risk of comm bans that way. and feed that audio into your stream

To stream your Xbox to Discord without your headset's audio being picked up by the Xbox, you can use Discord's native streaming feature on Xbox and adjust the chat mixer settings to output only to the headset.

Please link your discord and Xbox accounts. Make sure your Xbox account and Discord account are linked.

And then log into your Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One device with your Xbox account connected to your Discord account.

Press the Xbox button on the controller to open the console's guide.

Navigate to "Parties & chats" and select "Discord" from the menu.

Select the Discord server and the server's voice channel you want to stream to.

Based on your description, it seems that your Headset is being detected even though it is set for Headset and Speakers. We understand the importance of having this resolved as soon as possible but we need to investigate this and find the best possible solution to this issue. Let's work on this together.

To better understand the situation, we would like to ask some questions, such as:

• What is the make and model of your capture card?
  
• What device are you using when you are streaming? Windows PC, Xbox Gaming Console?
  

So far you can try the method below:

Go to your account settings > audio output > change to speakers & headset.

You will see if it is being picked up in your stream studio software in the audio mixer under "desktop audio". if there is no activity then it is still not outputting the game audio.

If that doesn't work, restart your computer, do a full shut down of your game platforming apps, unplug and replug in your peripheral devices.

An alternative is to connect your party to discord open chat and stream your game alongside, less tricky since your discord app is on your desktop
