Discord notifications

Is there a reason that when using Microsoft gamepass to play any of my games that discord is no longer allowed to pop up notifications? using Halo infinite through steam allows it, but through microsoft it does not. through steam i get all my updates, but the moment i go onto gamepass discord may as well not exist until i close gamepass out. literally notifications from 3 hours prior popped up cause gamepass is blocking them through discord and epic. i get off age of empires or halo infinite and get flooded with epic join requests cause during the game they are all blocked. there are no setting in discord to fix this and not in my pc either. it is literally only gamepass and has no obvious settings for this. I just wont play any halo ever again. you got rid of bungie ruining the series and now you have to have multiple system up so as to get invites on the one not being used while the system in use gets no notifications. I am literally using my playstation to keep track of epic and just getting no notifications from discord when using microsoft gamepass unless i download it on my phone. How and why is this ok? this is my computer, not yours.

Is Discord up to date?

Is the Xbox app up to date?

Are you using an Xbox insider build of the Xbox app on PC?

Which version of Windows are you using?

In the beginning, I accessed discord through Microsoft Edge but after a month or two, it randomly stopped working and hasn't loaded since. I too believe that it would be quite handy to be able to just load up discord like Spotify, and even be able to receive
notifications in game of when people respond or what they say.

1. You can use the subscribe topic tool to receive notifications in your email.

2. A message is sent to your profile on Xbox Live or a block is displayed on the dashboard.

3. Gifts are rendered directly in the xbox dashboard, you choose which account to use (spotify and discord).

Same problem for me. I was in discord on xobox and tried to invite someone to a lobby and it kicked me out and shows an exclamation relink account for discord on my xbox. Discord works fine on phone app and shows that discord is linked to my xbox in my app on phone but I cant use discord on xbox
