    Disconnection From Host While Playing Online Multiplayer Games


    I've reset my Xbox, manually Input my information, bought a new router, and changed my NAT settings to Open and I'm still getting disconnected from Host. What is going on? Could it be the game?

    Hello dear Gamer, first it's a pleasure to be able to help you today.

    Hey CrankHeart, how are you today? Hope you're well.

    What you could do is to configure your router that way:

    Call your internet service provider, and ask them to open the ports described below on your router.

    Port 88 (UDP)

    Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

    Port 80 (TCP)

    Port 500 (UDP)

    Port 3544 (UDP)

    Port 4500 (UDP)

    Also ask to disable and then, enable it again the UPnP function and if you have a modem and a router the process has to be done on both devices.

    Besides, ask them to put their console's IP in the DMZ zone configuration.

    (To find the Xbox One IP address, press the Xbox button to open the dashboard, go to System > Settings > General > Network settings, then select Advanced settings.)

    I just tried to get online and play mw3 it's 5:07am in Minnesota and just tried it a few min ago... Gold membership as well and everything else works fine. Then I looked on the site and some twitter feeds by Mr.Robert Bowling and just remembered that they're
    doing Sledgehammer Games,Inifity Ward and Activison are and is doing a world wide spread of server updates and bug issue and fixes to servers fixing log out of matches,server disconnections or loss to host server connections... I had to do a few matches earlier
    in the day of yesterday to try and find a good lobby before being booted out of the match because of server issues.... Hopefully whatever the heck this update/fix is better make it worth the wait and while cause I can't stand being disconnected from the server
    or host to switching to different host during game play in a multiplayer match against others...

    i have fiber optic connection, and still getting disconnected from online play, but the good thing it seems is its only disconnecting on the call of duty mw3 game while playing online.

    AC:Revelations Disconnects me whenever I try and play multiplayer!

    this is absolutely an ubisoft issue.

    theyve totally improved the gameplay of the multiplayer while destroying the server.

    im on a wired network, ports forwarded, and 25 down/5 up and i get constant disconnects, from either the host or server.

    its bad too, because i was TOTALLY looking forward to this game.
