Disconnecting in parties and games

Every few minutes I disconnect from the party I’m in and whatever game I’m playing. However, I can then join right back and it’s working again for a few minutes before it happens again. This was happening a week ago for about 2 days but then it stopped and now it’s been going on for another 2 days. My internet works fine for every other device and I’ve restarted the xbox and wifi countless times. Any suggestions to fix this?

I get disconnected while playing games about 75% of the time. I'm constantly getting disconnected and reconnected to Xbox live parties. I usually stay connected to Xbox live just disconnected to the games.

If I'm at the dashboard I will still be disconnected to my Xbox live party but usually it automatically connects back.

The problem doesn't just stay with parties, I can not even play multiplayer games with them as it disconnects me from them, around the same time as it disconnects me from the party.

I've been disconnecting from games and party's the past 2 days my connection is done and I stay on xbox live even when I disconnect from party's and games wtf xbox like really help

How are you?

Clean your console's MAC and restart your internet devices.

Network Settings> Advanced Settings> MAC Address and Clear.

If the problem persists reset the console to factory defaults, you won't lose anything but you will need to log in with your account again. Email and password are required.

Follow this path and select reset keeping games and app.

In 5 to 10 minutes you will finish reconfiguring your console

To reset the console>

Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console

***Do not reset your console without having your email and password.***

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue trying to stay in your parties. I could totally understand how that could start to be frustrating. Now, the best and usually last resort when it comes to network issue troubleshooting would normally be to
have your router/modem port forwarded for Xbox Live. If you haven't yet, then I would highly suggest visiting

Network ports used by Xbox Live on Xbox One and see if you can follow the instructions there to get your networks set up like that.

Now, there are several different brands of network hardware and internet service providers and our forums and website only have so much information on how to port forward through those third party devices, so if you have any trouble finding the steps that
apply to your modem/router another great site for instructions on how to get this done would be
portforward.com.

When you get a chance, try to manipulate your settings as outlined in that link and let us know how that helped.
