    Disconnecting from gta V online


    I just got my Xbox series S a day ago and I've been trying to play Gta V online with a friend of mine but, every time I've gotten in the same session as him 5 to 10 minutes later I get kicked from the session. I'm connected to ethernet and my NAT always says it's open. I've reset my console, reset my wi-fi and It's using the recommend amount of download and upload speed. I tried changing the IP address, unplugging my xbox for 30 seconds, cleared the cache and reset my xbox and it's still the same. How do I fix it?

    Thank you for your reply. I've tried changing to another network but, when I try going online it'll say everyone left my session. I stay online but, I can't see anyone other than myself in the session. Also, I just bought the GTA Online: Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack and it's not showing up in the game. I go to Microsoft store and it says "CHECK BACK IN A LITTLE BIT. WE'RE HAVING TROUBLE GETTING YOUR STUFF RIGHT NOW."

    Thank you for the update. To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    ​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Reset and keep my games & apps.

    Hi MarcusByrd2, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    Seems like you have performed all the necessary steps.

    Kindly try and use a different network connection to observe if the same issue will occur, also, please check if other games will have the same issue for us to validate if it's the console or the game server.

    no doubt, i will start GTA V once Online launches. i have refrained from GTA V when i got it on launch, but come Oct 1st...going to start GTA V Online

    Gta V wont let me sign in.

    Do other games work online perfectly fine? My only guess is that disconnecting like that caused a problem with GTA V's online date or something. I suggest contacted Rockstar about it as it could be on their end.
