Why is my Xbox sayin I have been disconnected from the Show online?
    hi,

    I'm ,

    Please follow these steps :

Verify the speed of your console’s connection:

    1. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
    2. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.
    3. Select Test network speed & statistics.
Write down the following information from your speed test results (having this information handy will make the discussion easier if you have to contact your ISP later):

    • Download speed
    • Upload speed
    • Ping (or Latency)
Compare your speed test results to the following recommended minimum requirements for the best connection experience (note that these are the minimum requirements; the higher your connection speed, the better your experience will be):

    For online gaming:

    • Minimum download speed of 3 Mbps (or 3,000 Kbps)
    • Minimum upload speed of 0.5 Mbps (or 500 Kbps)
    • Ping of less than 150 milliseconds
    For SD streaming:

    • Minimum download speed of 1 Mbps (or 1,000 Kbps)
    • Upload speed does not impact streaming
    • Ping of less than 150 milliseconds
    For HD streaming:

    • Minimum download speed of 3.5 Mbps (or 3,500 Kbps)
    • Upload speed does not impact streaming
    • Ping of less than 150 milliseconds
If your connection speeds meet or exceed the recommended minimum standards for the action you are trying to perform, use one of the following for additional help:

If your connection speeds do not meet the recommended minimum standards, continue to the next troubleshooting step below.

Step 2: Check your overall bandwidth and connection speed

Verify the speed of your Internet connection (download speed, upload speed, and ping) using one of the following websites:

Run one test to a local server (the test should select the nearest one automatically). Then, run another test to Pacific Northwest region of the United States (Microsoft headquarters).

Write down the results (same as you did on the previous step) and once again compare them to these recommended minimum standards:

    For online gaming:

    • Minimum download speed of 3 Mbps (or 3,000 Kbps)
    • Minimum upload speed of 0.5 Mbps (or 500 Kbps)
    • Ping of less than 150 milliseconds
    For SD streaming:

    • Minimum download speed of 3 Mbps (or 3,000 Kbps)
    • Upload speed does not impact streaming
    • Ping of less than 150 milliseconds
    For HD streaming:

    • Minimum download speed of 3 Mbps (or 3,000 Kbps)
    • Upload speed does not impact streaming
    • Ping of less than 150 milliseconds
If your connection speeds meet or exceed the recommended minimum standards for the action you are trying to perform, use one of the following for additional help:

If your connection speeds do not meet the recommended minimum standards, continue to the next troubleshooting step below.

Step 3: Contact your ISP to discuss your bandwidth allocation

You may need to contact your internet service provider (ISP) to resolve this issue.

    • Be sure to have the results of your speed test.
    • It will also help if you explain to them the minimum bandwidth and connection speed requirements you need for an optimal experience on Xbox.
    • If the results of your speed test do not measure up to the bandwidth and connection speed you should be receiving, then you may need to do some additional troubleshooting of your home network with your ISP technician.
    • If your current bandwidth allocation does not meet the minimum requirements for the experience you are trying to achieve, you may need to upgrade your bandwidth allocation with your ISP.
If none of the above steps resolve the connection issue, continue to the next step.

Step 4: Try a different cable or port (wired connection only)

Note For wired network connections, skip to Step 6: Power cycle your console and network hardware.

Verify that the networking cable is working

    1. Unplug the Ethernet cable from both the Xbox and the networking device (your modem, router, or gateway).
    2. Use a different network cable to connect your Xbox console and the networking device.
    3. Test your Xbox Live connection again (Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings > Test network speed & statistics).
If you do not receive the same error, the network cable was the problem. Try using one that's known to work.

Test the port on your networking device

If your computer is connected to the Internet and works as expected:

    1. Unplug the cable that connects your Xbox console and the networking device. (Only unplug the cable from the networking device.)
    2. Unplug the cable that connects the networking device to your computer. (Only unplug the cable from the networking device.) Be sure to note the port number on the networking device where the cable is connected.
    3. Connect the networking cable from your Xbox One console to the port number on the networking device that you noted in step 2.
    4. Test your connection again (Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings > Test network speed & statistics).
If you do not receive the same error, the port on the networking device was the problem. Try connecting the network cable from your Xbox console to a different port on the networking device.

Test the Ethernet port on the Xbox console

If your computer is connected to the Internet and works as expected:

    1. Unplug the network cable from the Ethernet port on your Xbox console.
    2. Unplug the network cable that connects your computer to the networking device. (Only unplug the cable from your computer.)
    3. Plug the network cable (the one you unplugged in step 2) into your Xbox console.
    4. Test your connection again (Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings > Test network speed & statistics).
If you get the same error, there might be a problem with the Ethernet port on the Xbox One console. For more information about getting your Xbox One console repaired, visit Device service and replacement.

If none of these solutions resolves the problem, skip to Step 6: Power cycle your console and network hardware.

Step 5: Check for wireless interference (wireless connection only)

Note For wired network connections, skip to Step 6: Power cycle your console and network hardware.

    Disconnect third-party headsets

Third-party wireless headsets can cause active interference because they broadcast on the same frequency as wireless routers. To identify if the headset is causing the issue, disconnect the power from the base station of the wireless headset. Then test your Xbox Live connection again (Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings > Test network speed & statistics).

If the wireless headset was causing the error, your console should now connect to Xbox Live. If this does not resolve the connection problem, continue checking for other kinds of wireless interference.

    Check for other wireless interference

Active interference occurs when other electronic devices are broadcasting a wireless signal or are causing some other form of electromagnetic interference. Common causes of active interference are microwaves, ovens, air conditioners, CRT televisions, wireless headsets, baby monitors, other wireless networks, cordless phone systems, and wireless speakers.

Note As a best practice to minimize potential wireless interference, make sure all the cables on the back of your console are gathered away from and are not touching the console.

Passive interference occurs when a wireless signal passes through objects. This causes the wireless signal to be weakened and refracted. Materials that cause passive interference include concrete, glass, lead and copper piping, insulation, mirrors, gun safes, filing cabinets, tile, and plaster.

Attenuation occurs as the wireless signal degrades over distance. Routers have a limited broadcast range, which varies from device to device. A device’s range can be reduced further if the signal passes through solid objects. The ideal distance from the wireless router for the Xbox console is usually between 5 and 50 feet.

Line of sight is important when dealing with interference. Imagine a straight line from your router to your console, and try to eliminate as many points of interference as you can along that line. You can do this by turning off or moving any devices along that line that could cause interference. You can also relocate the console or the router to minimize interference. Moving devices outside of entertainment cabinets or desks can often help improve wireless signals.

Once you have determined the best line of sight configuration for your devices and have removed as many causes of interference as possible, test your Xbox Live connection again (Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings > Test network speed & statistics). If this does not resolve the connection problem, continue to the next step.

Step 6: Power cycle your console and network hardware

To perform a power cycle reset, follow these steps:

    1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.
    2. Restart your Xbox One console. Press and hold the Xbox button  in the center of your Xbox One controller to open the Power Center. Select Restart console and then select Restart. (If the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button  on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button  on the console again to restart.)
    3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.
    4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.
    5. Test your Xbox Live connection again (Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings > Test network speed & statistics). If this does not resolve the connection problem, continue to the next step.

Step 7: Change your firewall settings

Firewalls within your network hardware are intended to help secure your network by restricting the information that travels between your devices and the Internet. However, you may experience connection issues if your firewall restricts necessary traffic (a setting which may be blocking your Xbox One from connecting to Xbox Live). Additionally, some firewall settings, such as IP flood detection, can cause connection issues.

Please consult your router documentation or the router manufacturer’s website to learn how to disable the firewall in order to test your connection. If the test is successful, you can then adjust your settings up incrementally until you find a level that will allow you to connect to Xbox Live and still secure your network.

If this solution worked, you should not experience the same connection issue. However, please note that some connection issues can be transitory or inconsistent. If the problem occurs again, you may need to return to this solution.

If this does not resolve the connection problem, continue to the next step.

Step 8: Enable perimeter network (also known as DMZ) functionality on your router

Perimeter network (also known as DMZ) functionality on a router is used to remove restrictions to the Internet. This essentially moves your device to an area outside your network firewall. If you enable perimeter network functionality on your router, you should be able to connect to Xbox Live, join games, and host games or parties.

Note It is critical that you use a static IP address on the console when you set up a perimeter network. To set a static IP address, use your router’s DHCP reservation function, when available. If this is not available, you will have to set up manual IP settings on your Xbox console. You will only be able to place one Xbox console into the perimeter network. Therefore, if you have multiple consoles, this solution will only resolve the issue for one Xbox console.

For information about how to enable and disable the perimeter network setting on your router, please consult your router documentation.

Run the connection test again to see if there is any measurable improvement in your connection quality (Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings > Test network speed & statistics). Look for an increase in upload/download speed and a reduction in packet loss (0% packet loss is best).

If this solution worked, you should not experience the same connection issue. If this does not resolve the connection problem, continue to the next step.

Important Do not use a combination of port forwarding, UPnP, and perimeter network settings. If this solution does not resolve your issue, you must disable the perimeter network (DMZ) before you go to the next step.

    Step 9: Try a direct-to-modem connection

Connect your Xbox One console directly to your modem instead of connecting it to your router. This is a temporary solution meant to help determine the cause of the problem.

If you can connect to Xbox Live with a direct-to-modem connection, your console and modem are working as expected. To connect to Xbox Live using your router, you might need to change a setting on your router.

    1. On your router, unplug the network cable connecting the router to your Xbox console (leave the other end of this cable plugged into your Xbox).
    2. On your modem, unplug the network cable that connects the modem to your router. At this point, neither the Xbox nor the modem should be connected to the router.
    3. Now connect your Xbox directly to your modem (use the same cable that was connecting your Xbox to your router).
    4. Press and hold the Xbox button  on the console for a minimum of five seconds to turn off the console.
    5. Unplug the power cord from the back of the modem.
    6. After one minute, plug the modem back in and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.
    7. Turn on the Xbox console.
    8. Test your Xbox Live connection again (Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings > Test network speed & statistics).
If this fixes the connection problem, it means your router is incompatible with the Xbox because of its firmware, or the router has had a hardware failure. Your options are to:

    • Check with your router manufacturer to see if there is a firmware update that you can try to install on your router. After you install the firmware update, try to connect directly to the router again.
    • Try restoring your router to factory defaults. You may need to consult your device documentation or contact your router manufacturer for help with this.
    • Buy a new router.
If this does NOT fix the connection problem, you may need to contact your internet service provider (ISP) to resolve this issue. For example, you may need to ask your ISP to replace a defective modem, verify the settings on your modem, or check your connection speed.

Your ISP may "re-provision" or replace your modem. Reprovisioning resets your connection by clearing old settings. Your ISP will guide you through the process of unplugging your modem and then plugging it back in so that it updates with the latest information in your profile.

In addition, not all ISPs use the same network layout, protocols, and processes. It’s also possible that your ISP may be experiencing known issues that could be blocking your Xbox from connecting to the Internet or to Xbox Live.

Before you contact your ISP, be sure to document as much of the problem as you can. For example, document any error messages that you receive and any changes that you have made while troubleshooting the issue.

Coming from ps4 to x1 and very disappointed so far!

If you're downloading from the disc and trying to disconnect from the internet, if you accept the online update first, I found that you cannot use the disconnect trick. You must first deny the online update and then disconnect or make sure to disconnect
before even putting the game in there.

A lot of the time, trials and subscriptions don't sync straight away and deleting the profile and downloading can sometimes rectify, but it is weird that it's not showing on your commerce page. If re-downloading the profile doesn't work, I'd be contacting
    phone support about it.
