disconnect a child and adult account?

If you were referring to the account being child by accident, may we confirm if this account is newly created?

Can we confirm what do you mean by no one has access to the account it's connected to? Are you referring to the Microsoft Family you are part with?

For the child account, this should be included on a Microsoft Family where you are required to seek assistance to an organizer. To determine the account organizer, you may visit your account page for family through this link: Microsoft Family Safety.

since the family account doesn't exist anymore the likely cause for this is that your account is still specified as parental account on those other accounts. If those other accounts have reached the legal age of adult you should be able to promote these
accounts to adults (Disconnecting your parental account from these accounts).

You or the owners of the 'child' account need to do this on their account. (So your brother needs to do this his account)

There are three accounts in total, two adult, one child. The info I gave previously was from my adult account.

I'm just checking his child and our adult statuses.

My account is Adult and his is Custom (Child setting interfered with his gaming).

Is the account in question a child's or adult's account? If its a child account you may want to change it to an adult account and give it a shot.
