Disc two for new **** ultimate edition won't install it just say try again every time

Please check first if you have enough space for the game installation on your hard drive.

If you have enough space, please do the steps below one at a time to sort out the issue.

Solution 1: Clear your local saved games

Eject the disc from your console.

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Storage devices.

Select Clear local saved games.

Note Selecting this option will not delete any games or progress you have saved in the Xbox cloud. It will only clear data you have saved locally.

Select Yes to confirm.

Once your console restarts, try installing the game again.

If this solution doesn’t work, try the next solution.

Solution 2: Install the game via offline mode.

Step 1: Use your console offline

Follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.

Select Go offline.

Step 2: Cancel the download

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide, and then select My games & apps > See all.

Select Manage > Queue.

Highlight the game you’re trying to install and press the Menu button  on the controller.

Select Cancel.

Step 3: Eject the game disc and power cycle the console

Eject the game disc.

Press and hold the Xbox button  to open the Power Centre.

Select Restart console.

Select Restart.

Note If the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button  on the console for about 10 seconds until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button  on the console again to restart.

Step 4: Install the game

After the console restarts, insert the disc. Follow the steps to install the game.

Note Make sure you do this before you reconnect to the internet.

Step 5: Go online and let the game update install

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.

Select Go online.

Are you trying to use the regular fallout 3 disc or the game of the year edition? I've read a lot of posts saying there are problems with the game of the year edition saying it won't work or it won't let you install the dlc. Do you have any other backwards
compatible discs that won't work either or is it just fallout?

I think you're referring to the Ultimate Rapture Edition. I've got that edition and there's 4 discs for the two BioShock games. Just remember to install disc 2 (bonus disc) for each game first because that has all of the DLC content on it.

i just got Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition. I put in disc one, than disc two and i went to view downloadable content and it says “this feature is temporarily unavailable please try again later. Status Code: d000000f “ is there a way i can get
the DLC’s?

Might need to call in and see if they can help you with codes or take the game back and get the digital

Bump: I just got back because I was out. I've just ejected/reinserted my disc and it is read that it is AC3 (which it never did before). When I start or try installing AC3 the console says, "This disc is unreadable."

1. Clean the disc with a soft cloth.

2. Restart the console.

It's BRAND NEW.

Edit #2:

So I ejected and reinserted the disc AGAIN and launched it straight away. This time it disconnected me from LIVE and downloaded an update.

Will try installing after this (THIS IS NECESSARY FOR ME. My Xbox360 is extremely noisy when discs are not installed.
