    Disc icon not showing


    When I bought the gamepass for xbox in 2020 and that time Minecraft was in gamepass... But then when I insert the disc for Minecraft the disc icon is NOT shown when I bought the gamepass for xbox.. it used to show when I did not have gamepass but now it doesn't show now when I have gamepass is it my disc problem?? This is only for Minecraft but I dont know about the other games bcz Minecraft is the only disc game which is in xbox gamepass

    It's not a problem with the disc. It'll always show that way as long as you have Game Pass. If you were to unsubscribe, it'll show the disc icon again.

    So when you put a disc in, the disc is read, and then the game tile shows up with the disc icon showing on it? If not, then it is not reading the disc, which will be why the games won't work.

    It's possible your console does not have auto install enabled. If the disc reads, and shows the game tile with the disc icon in the corner, then select it and start the install.

    The 1st thing to do is give the discs a clean, and then insert disc 2, as that is the only disc that the Xbox One will give you both the game & DLC. Listen to the console to check if the drive is starting up and reading the disc. If it reads the disc, a new icon tile will show on your console dashboard with a disc icon. Select it, and the game should ask you to update the game, select yes, and install the game. Make sure your console is connected to Xbox Live to do this, as it needs to install the game from the servers.,
