    Hi, I currently have a regular Xbox One and I am thinking about switching to an Xbox One S. My only reservation is that I already own a bunch of games for the Xbox One in disc form. If I make the switch, would I have to repurchase the games or am I able
    to install the games digitally?

    I have to decide ASAP so if someone could respond fast, that would be great.

    My only issue with going digital, which I would do, is that the digital games are more expensive than the disc games . ?

    Not sure why , but I will wait for now, even if the matched the price fair enough 👍🤔

    As long as you have the disc, you should be good. Anything that you purchase digitally will be available to you via your account and would just have to install them on the new system! :)

    Hello!

    You can install your physical games only on an Xbox One with disc drive. In the case of digital games, you can install on any device without problems.

    You would only need to do this if you purchase the All digital Xbox One S that has no disc drive. If you purchase an Xbox One S or X with a disc drive they can still be used there. But there is no way to convert disc games to digital versions.
    Is there any way for me to exchange the games from disc to digital?

    If they cost the same price, could I not bring the disc somewhere and be able to swap it out for a digital version of the game?
