Disc game installation keeps stopping at the same spot. How do I fix this?

Nope, just inserted the disc into my Xbox Series X and started the download.

How do I fix the problem of installations being stopped for no reason. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Is this on PC or Xbox? Does the install permanently stop or does is restart when you click resume then stop again? On my One X, it took me 3 days to install a game from a disc as it kept stopping after 0.2-2% and I had to keep clicking resume.

It could be one of many things. Since its not a one spot concrete problem than it is probably not the game disc. Id try installing the game but if that doesnt fix the problem or it already is than it might be the lens in the xbox might need fixed or cleaned.
Or play the same disc on another 360 and if theres no problem there then its definetely the lens. Youd be amazed how tempermental they can be.
