    Disc Eject Sound Then Powers Off


    In the last 2 weeks, it would just keep making the disc eject sound which was harmless I never played on disc but then it would make a disc eject sound and then power off and then every time I clicked on it would instantly power it off, I opened it up cleaned it seen that it needed new thermal paste because the old one was old as hell, so I cleaned it replace the thermal paste and tried it again

    It made it through a whole match for the first time in like weeks

    But then disc ejected and powered off again

    I bought it uses no warranty, I've had it for a year tho no issues until now,

    Any ideas?

    Okay back again... no ugly sound that others have been reporting, but I've noticed after long press of power button disc is read and runs perfectly fine. When I go to change discs I press eject once. It then ejects disc and immediately pulls the disc back
    in. No message will pop up sayingdisc is dirty or damaged, but it will still say insert disc in the lower right box. I press eject and it ejects normal. Put disc back in and that's when the message pops up saying it's dirty or damaged. Then have to press power
    button for reset or full power off and it will run the next disc fine until I eject and it pulls disc back on its own.

    Neither the step by step, or using a different power cable helped. It is still acting as it did in the video. I do hear the disc eject sound though, then it turns itself off

    Eject any Discs in the xbox tray.

    You can try and reset the HDMI settings by powering off with the hard power off.

    When its turned off, press the power and eject button at the same time, until you hear the on beep.

    Then you should be able to navigate to settings and display and sound.

    Try like 720p, And other RGB Settings. Until you find something that works for you.

    It's a pretty distinct sound heard on power-up and disc eject. It's not a beep. Exchange your console at your retailer.
