Disc corrupted

Then it may be the culprit for the error message. Though, have you tried all the troubleshooting steps I've provided you above? As stated:

-Do you use external storage perhaps?

-If you have tried restoring your console to factory defaults when you insert the disc, it still shows that the Warzone 2.0 downloads?

Since the free 2.0 is already corrupted, I'm afraid it will not go through regardless at this point.

When it happened to me before with a different game, I did this method and see if it will work for you.

-Try to cancel the download if it is an option

-Reset console but keeping my games and apps

-And try it again

If not, you can use this method:

Go to Settings > Network > Network Settings > Advanced Settings.

There select Alternate MAC address and then select Clear.

You will have to restart the console and router for the change to take effect to see if your internet might be intermittent.

Sorry to hear about that, however, does this only happen on a specific game disc or all of your game discs?

If it only happens in this game, you can try following these steps:

First, remove your disc > Press the Xbox controller on your controller to open the guide > Go to Settings > Devices & Connections > Blu Ray > Persistent Storage > Clear Persistent storage

If it still won't work, do you use external storage perhaps? Try to remove the external storage first and see if it will suffice.

If it happens to all of your game discs, you might need to reset your console but keep your games and apps. This will delete any corrupted data in your console's OS. Ensure you know your Microsoft account and password before doing so and your console is connected to the internet.

Press Xbox button> Go to System> Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console> Keep Games and Apps

Once it restarts > Sign In > Choose your last settings

If you did this already, you may opt to restore your console to factory defaults by wiping everything off and just installing the specific game and if all else fails, its possible that its the optical drive of your console already and you may need to get your console repaired.

And if it only happens on this disc, you may need to reach out to the store where you bought the disc from.

I tried different games last night with no problem, so I decided to install to hard drive! now please correct me if i`m wrong, but if the disc is really corrupt, it shouldn`t let me install! am i right!

anyways it did install, so im keeping my fingers crossed!

As for bad batch, I must be really unlucky to get 2 bad copies from 2 different shops!( not saying your wrong, just pointing out how unlucky I must be! lol)

Thank you. So, just to ensure we're on the same page, does the error shows on the disc when you try to load it or the download of Warzone 2.0?

Still not helping. If it’s helpful to know when inserting the disc it immediately tried to download Warzone 2.0 the instillation doesn’t even reach 1% before stopping and saying it is corrupt
