disappointed by Microsoft support.

Has Microsoft somehow justified that?

My console is about to be replaced, but Microsoft can not make it in acceptable time. Can last up to 28 days, was told me. Everywhere you can buy the console, but Microsoft has no stock. Pretty sad.

Huh? Whatcha mean? When I was having intermittent troubles with Microsoft Edge, and had to report the issue, I was asked for the serial number of my console. I know it's in the system settings, but as I was in a chatroom using my Xbox One at the time, I
simply had to get up off the couch and peek *behind* the console. Every Xbox has a serial number engraved on it! By "loading" the console, I gather you meant "booting" it? Anyhoo, why are you buying REFURBISHED models instead of new ones? Are you that budget
conscious?

I'm guessing I didn't get an advanced exchange because they do want to check the xbox out and make sure it was itself faulty and not a user caused issue. Someone at Microsoft cared enough to give me a direct line via phone and email for assistance so they
actually do care but I'm still not happy how long this has taken.

I was finally able send my xbox off to the repair facility yesterday. I also got a friendly email saying they saw it was en route. So we'll see how long it takes from here. I hope everyone else gets their issues taken care of. Seems as though being
persistent is the key and you will be taken care of. Hopefully xbox can optimize service repair / replacement times.

i am just a concerned consumer who cares about you and all that you might have to endure. i fight the company on your behalf. so you as gamer don't have to deal with the same distraught that i have the displeasure of having.
