    Keep in mind this is a community-based forum so we don't work for Microsoft. Developer mode has not been disabled. If your account was deactivated, you would need to send an email to reportapp @ microsoft.com (remove the spaces) to report it so they can get your account reactivated.     Where did you hear it was going to be free? I find that extremely unlikely that they would ever do such a thing

    Just so that you're aware, developer mode is specifically to develop your own software. Any other uses is a violation of terms of service and can lead to account and hardware bans.

    as far as I know nothing changed in regards to that, but the real question is..should somebody do that.

    Only people that use the console for developing purposes should do that

    Just try disabling low latency mode in your Xbox or Game mode in your TV
