Disable XBOX 360 controller?

Discus and support Disable XBOX 360 controller? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; My XBOX-360 controller is permanently connected to the PC with cable.     Disable XBOX 360 controller?

    How is it "permanently" connected to the PC? Can't you unplug it?

    I'm not sure what you're trying in Device Manager, but disabling the device shouldn't require a full system restart.

    In device manager If you have Xbox (360 peripherals) and (Xbox peripherals) right at the bottom



    Device manager

    > Xbox 360 peripheral

    > Xbox 360 controller for windows. Right click disable. Should prompt to restart.



    > Xbox peripherals

    >Xbox One controller.







    I bought a brand-new Xbox Elite series 2 controller, which would not work with battle net.

    It was because the Xbox peripherals was conflicting with the Xbox 360 peripherals. Disabling the Xbox 360 controller in device manager.

    Fixed my issue and saved my tissues, who wants a warm milkshake?

    [RESOLVED] XBox series controllers issue in windows 10\11

    I use Razer Tartarus PRO with analog input. The system see that xbox 360 controller connected.

    SOLUTION

    It needs to disable xbox 360 for windows in device manager and then after few minutes xbox series controller starts working as it must to be. If you enable x360 again, series controller continue working until you reboot your system.
