Disable on/off button

Discus and support Disable on/off button in XBoX Accessibility to solve the problem; I need help, I have a 1 year old and he keeps touching the on button on front of my Xbox one.     I need help, I have a 1 year old and he keeps touching the on button on front of my Xbox one. I have disabled the charm noise but he still keeps on messing with it. Is there a way of disabling the on off button on the front of the Xbox and only turn it on
    by the controller. I know this will cause problems later but he's already causing problems on my Xbox by turning on and off and not allowing it to turn on properly if there is a way of doing this I really would appreciate the help with it.

    Disable power button on console

    Is it possible to disable the power button on the front of the Xbox One? My toddler loves to press the button and keeps turning the console on/off.

    you can try taping a thick fold of paper to the xbox it wont look pretty but it will keep the button from being pushed. make sure its nice and tight so the child can't pull it off. lol i baby sit a lot. i had to learn ways of keeping my console safe.

    Hi there WoolyMerkin you cannot disable the power button. You will have to find a way to keep the dog away from the console sorry

    Xbox One design does not suit everyone at all!!

    I have to add that i totally agree .. Very annoying. Maybe a feature that disables the on/off button forcing the user to turn off via the controller?

    Hey there XCeL goblin32,

    Sounds like the Narrator might have been turned on. To turn it off, just hold the Xbox Button on the controller on the dashboard and press the Menu button. That should disable it for you. :)

    How can you turn off the narrator in minecraft dungeouns. The button is disabled and he wont be quiet

    if the button to turn off narrator is disabled in the game, it could be your Xbox Narrator itself been turned on somehow? Just hold in the Xbox Home button until the turnoff power menu appears, then in the bottom right you will see Narrator... push options
    and turn it off if it is on and that should fix it.
