DIrt 4 Pre-order Price just changed from $79.95 to $99.95. Why?

Ever since it was listed for pre-order, weeks ago, the Dirt 4 Digital Pre-order Pack was listed for $79.95. It releases on 8th June 2017.

A few of my friends bought it at this price yesterday. Today when I went to purchase it, too. The price is now showing as $99.95.

Why did the price go up by $20 overnight? I wanted to buy it, but not at that price when my friends have paid $79.95. There is no reason for a change. It is still in pre-order. There were no notices about it being a timed price.

The game should not cost $99.95. However if you purchased the deluxe edition and/or the pre-order this combined with taxes can make $99.95 a little more reasonable.

 

Price discount on Black Ops II Not updated when purchased

$66.96 is the correct price in the NZ marketplace. The original price is $99.95

Prices and Promotions can vary by region and It appears that $99.95 is consistent with other games at the standard rate such as FIFA 18 at $99.59. Do your friends also live in Australia or a different country?

The price in Australia for the Dirt 4 Digital Pre-order pack was $79.95 from the 10th April 2017 until the 1st of June 2017. On the 2nd of June it went up $20 to $99.95.

Prices and promotions can vary by region as I previously mentioned and are set by the publisher. After doing some investigating, the price on the Xbox Store in Australia is accurate at $99.95 currently. You'll want to keep an eye out on the Xbox Store for
any new sales or promotions on DiRT 4, since we don't have the ability to retroactively offer any prior sales or promotions.
