    UPDATE

    AFTER TWO WEEKS I DECIDED TO HOOK UP XBOX ONE ON MY VIZIO TV AND DIRECTV MINI BOX DOWNSTAIRS AND EVERYTHING WORKED PERFECTLY BUT CANT GET ANYTHING STILL ON DIRECTV GENIE DVR BOX THIS SUCKS

    I'm having issues connecting to my DirecTV Genie HR44/500. XB1 cannot find a code to control it. Please help. It was working last week.

    Mine quit working too. Since the November update. I have a DirecTV genie hr44 sat box. Work fine before now it does not. I did everything to get it to work. It has to be the new update.

    So, you used Live TV successfully for 2 weeks with the DirecTV Mini (Genie Extender) and it worked great.

    Then you moved it to another room with the DirecTV genie in it and now Live TV doesn't work? Are you seeing a black screen? A "no signal" message? Something else?

    If you can better explain the symptoms, I can help you troubleshoot a bit more.
