Discus and support Direct Stream From YouTube App in XBoX Accessibility to solve the problem; At one point on the xbox one you could stream directly from the YouTube app. It was quietly removed when mixer came along.     Direct Stream From YouTube App


    At one point on the xbox one you could stream directly from the YouTube app. It was quietly removed when mixer came along. I would like to see it return on the series x or s I have upgraded to the series x and would like to stream my gameplay without an el gato or pc. I also have a ps5 and they have the option to stream directly from the app why can't I stream from my series x? It's the superior console in my eyes but not being able to stream directly from the YouTube app like my ps5 can kinda upsets me.

    PS4 and PS5 can stream directly to YT and Twitch, my Series X which is supposed to be the best there is can't stream no where.

    I have to remote play on my PC and stream to YT with OBS at a blazing 720p@30fps, people would guess that MS could do better than that.

    No, Twitch has an app that allows you to do it, and Mixer streaming is built in. If you wanted to stream directly to YouTube or Facebook you would need to reach out to those companies and request that they make an app that enables that to happen. That's
    just to have this stream happen natively directly from the Xbox without a capture card.

    If you're unfamiliar with capture cards or how they work, I would
    direct you to this article from Windows Central which covers some options and the basics.

    If you have some direct questions or requests on getting that configured, we'd be happy to help. But for now, YouTube would have to make an app that allowed streaming for it to happen without additional resources.

    unfortunately xbox one does not have an app to stream direct to youtube, as if you do with twitch and mixer, you would need a pc and a catcher to be able to stream your xbox games to youtube, but if you want to upload gameplay and record them to upload
    them then to youtube, twitch offers you the option to send your finished transmissions directly to youtube, so it's a good option since you shouldn't download the live or expect anything as it does it automatically

    We can't know what the upcoming Xbox Series X features for streaming are just now.

    Microsoft had their own streaming service called "Mixer", that they shut down just yesterday on July 22nd. And for that service, they had streaming built right into the Xbox One console. You'd just set up your stream from the console guide, and could stream
    to Mixer.

    Twitch has made a separate app that you could install on your Xbox One, and set up streaming to Twitch from the console.

    Unfortunately for YouTube, there was no app or built in support, as YouTube/Google hasn't provided such an app on Xbox.

    If you really want/have to stream your Xbox gameplay to YouTube, the currently only known way is to have a PC with HDMI capturing hardware and a streaming software like OBS or XSplit to stream that video capture from the PC to YouTube.
