    Direct Connect Webcam Issues


    Hey there!

    I'm having some issues with my fosman LED USB webcam which has always worked up until now. Since mixer shut down, I've been working with Lightstream a lot and they've been invaluable in helping me migrate to Twitch.

    My issue, is that my webcam that I've always had plugged into my xbox no longer broadcasts live, nor will it even let me in through stream settings in the integrated "Capture and Share" menu change the location of the cam window. If I try, the window will
    stay grey for about 5-7 seconds, and then close.

    Anyone else running into similar issues when trying to run a webcam through their xbox to be able to hit lightstream?

    How do I set up Audio on the XBox with Mixer?

    are you streaming direct from your xbox with the webcam plugged in? if so then the audio for your stream automatically comes from your xbox, or do you mean audio as in you talking and that wasnt heard? as i am not sure if a mic thats built into
    the webcam is supported, you may have to use a headset for that.
    I am streaming directly from the XBox with webcam plugged in, but I mean the audio as in talking that wasn't heard.

    So if I use a headset, that should potentially solve this issue?

    broadcast with a webcam on Mixer is for broadcasting which works fine.

    Problem is Logitech C930e Webcam (Any Webcam) is not responding to "Hi Cortana". Digital Assistant is also on, and Cortana works completely fine with any connected Headphone. How can I use Cortana with a webcam mic?
