    I know that the Xbox programmable joystick was the first of its type and is fairly well.

    If the goal is that anyone could program their joystick to be the way they wanted in button remapping then here is a big oversight:

    On my fightstick there is no way I can get the Sega Genesis formation with the Sega Genesis collection because neither Sega has an option, nor does Microsoft as part of the OS, the swap buttons between a trigger and a non trigger.

    I understand that the triggers are treated separately because they're analog and all the other buttons are digital. That's why the current setup won't let you swap them.

    But maybe there should be an option that you could check for Digital Triggers. You do lose the analogness of the physical triggers, but in return you can map any button on them. As far as sensitivity just read the grossest bit: it's over 50% it's pressed.
    If it's under 50% it's not. And assuming you use a power of 2 value of possible trigger states it's impossible to be exactly at half. You will always either be over or under.

    There are only 2 predefined settings that are uneditable on Sge Genesis Classics, and I was under the default control scheme in the Xbox 1 Joystick OS.

    If this is the fight stick arrangement, and assuming buttons and triggers are not cross mappable:

    Becuase the triggers are only swappable with each other and are always > and <, ut’s impossible to remap to get this:

    B B B T

    B B B T

    Even with the Xbox One Joystick OS

    The only way you can do it is to make an "all digital mode" where the triggers are remappable as digital buttons both to and from the triggers.

    Also what about the flip X axis on analog sticks?

    Fight stick issues with adaptive cobtroller.

    The issues might be with my particular fight stick, because it's "double wired," to alternate between right and left handed fighting.

    I noticed that there are certain pairs that always get flipped 2 buttons actuate when one 3.5mm cable plugged in.

    I will do live diagnostic troubleshooting Q and A on Twitch.tv/tripletopper to show this phenomenon. My joystick builder wants to see it.

    I will go live at 9PM Eastern today. So you guys can see.

    Also the Xbox accessories app makes impossible to switch a trigger with a non trigger unless the game itself allows it.

    And the arrangement of the joystick puts the Genesis formation at a row of 4 buttons and a row of 2 if your triggers are rewind and fast forward. And tgere is no way to get around that.

    If Microsoft had an option in Xbox Accessories called "All digital button mode". Then any button can be freely mapped with any other button.

    A button and a d pad direction can be remapped without concerns for Simlutaneous Opposite Cardinal Directions. I can see benefits if that, but there should be a mode to enforce that.

    Yet Microsoft makes sure Analog triggers must be analog and are therefore unswappable with bumpers and buttons.

    How could you be okay with SOCD errors/bugs/cheats, yet strictly enforce analog only triggers? I never heard of "digitized trigger cheating". But I heard of SOCD cheating. Hitbox built a brand around SOCD cheating. But I never heard of the Digitized Trigger cheat.

    Low Latency Mode - being triggered by Netflix?

    If you hard set it from the TV side yes.

    But newer TVs like the Samsung Q9F now support "Auto" detection of GLLM.

    And with the new Low Latency Mode setting on the XBOX ONE, when it turned on, it is suppose to "allow" individual apps when then are launched to decide to trigger Game Mode on the TV. When you are in the XBOX home page for example it does not trigger Low
    Latency Mode, it is only triggered when you launch an app. The Netflix app, Blue Ray player, and other streaming media apps should absolutely not be triggering this behavior. Game mode is exactly that... for games. So this is definitely a bug. If the
    setting truly is to "allow apps" to trigger it, video media apps should not be set to trigger it, it negatively impacts the viewing experience.

    It can be data corruption, but yes, it’s all software errors triggering protect mode based in your description.
