Digital Purchase History and Hardware Purchase not counting towards MyRewards, VIP or ...

As the Title mainly:

With regards to My Rewards going back to November 2010 I feel that there has been so many instances where my purchases haven't counted towards my totals, please can you look into my account and see if this is the case, please.

Hardware purchases do not count towards VIP.

 

Purchases not counting towards vip or credits

I have made 5 purchases all digitally through the xboxone which shows up on my billing history but have yet to receive any credits or an increase in my vip rank for them. I believe there was a mission going on for pre-ordering mass effect which I did not
get either. So far this year I have spent close $200 dollars so I should be a lot closer to vip rank 2 than 5% which is what it is currently saying I am at.

 

Are there any specific offers you're looking for credits from?

Keep in mind that hardware only earns credits if there is a specific offer for it. It does not count towards VIP.

You mention hardware purchases, but there has not been an offer that awards hardware purchases since winter 2016. It sounds like you may not be familiar with how our program works. You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/ .

-or-

2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
back as MyVIP payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

MyVIP had a recalibration for the last few years. At the end of the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015
and December 2016. We did not recalibrate this year (December 2017). Since you are a zero star member, you do not get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (Xbox Live Rewards).
