Digital gift card not receiving to my friends account

It should be the same whether you purchase it from your Xbox console as a gift, it should still appear in your purchase history. Have you checked if it appears there and if there is an option to view the code?

Sometimes, gifts sent to someone through the Microsoft Store or Xbox Store may take up to 24 hours to arrive, llthough, considering that it has been 3 days, I recommend asking your friend to check the junk/spam email folder in case it landed there.

If after this time your friend still hasn't received the gift, you can check your purchase history by using the following link:

https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/

From there, you can find the gift code and manually send it to your friend so they can redeem it.

If you don't see it, and since 3 days have passed, I recommend requesting a refund for the gift using the following link:
