Digital Games keep reinstalling

I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble with Dead by Daylight. I understand that the game stops updating at 99 percent and reappears after you delete it. That sounds very frustrating. I'm here to help you with some troubleshooting steps.



First, can you please tell me what version of the game you have installed? You can check this by going to My games & apps > Manage > Updates and looking at the version number under the game title.



Second, can you please try clearing the local saved games cache on your console? This will not delete any of your game progress or achievements, but it may help resolve some issues with corrupted or incomplete updates. To do this, follow these steps:



- Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

- Go to Profile & system > Settings > System > Storage.

- Select Clear local saved games.

- Select Yes to confirm. Your console will restart.

After your console restarts, please try launching the game again and see if the update completes. If not, please let me know and we'll try some other solutions.

Hi There,

There should be no difference between the physical and digital games other than the license. If you are playing on a disc and change to digital you will need to uninstall and reinstall the digital games due to the licenses and same from digital to physical.
Other than that you will still keep your progress, DLCs, and save games.

I'm having this issue as well. Every few days I have to reinstall games randomly. At first it wasn't a big deal because they were games I wasn't regularly playing. Now it's doing it on games I actively play and is quite annoying.0
