    OK this maybe a little long but this will alter my decision about the Xbox One S. I have spent hundreds of dollars on games for the Xbox One. I just seen the trailer for the Xbox One S my reaction was YES! Then, I started thinking about money. And then I
    wondered, will I still be able to play my Xbox One games that are DIGITAL on the Xbox One S? I have all digital copies of games besides one and I don't want my money to come to a waste! Please help me out here Xbox!

    I have two Xbox consoles and i have a game on digital. I have a PROBLEM.

    Hi. I have a problem, i have BF1 (Digital) and the game is originally from my second Xbox Console (Xbox One S) so today, i put my account which i install my DIGITAL GAME on my first Xbox Console (Xbox One) but i don't find the Digital Game.

    I need help! Somebody?

    Yes you'll be able to play your digital and retail games on the new console.

    Xbox One, Xbox One S & Project Scorpio all belong to the same family and will be compatible with each other.

    Otaku Panda is right. Just wanted to add you will be able to play all your games and use the accessories in all Xbox One console versions.

    Sign in on your Xbox One S with the same account you purchased your games on the old console, go to Games and Apps App, scroll to the right and all of your previously purchased games will be listed there ready for you to download.

    You have names mixed up. There are no consoles named the Xbox One Series S or Xbox One Series X.

    The Xbox One/One S/One X all have a disc drive.

    The Xbox One S All Digital Edition does not have a disc drive.

    The Xbox Series X has a disc drive.

    The Xbox Series S does not have a disc drive.

    All the consoles can play backward compatible games. The Series S and One S all digital edition can only play games digitally downloaded.

    The other consoles can play games from disc and from digitally downloaded,

    I hope this clears things up for you.

    Hi there,

    You can only play digital games in the Xbox One S All-digital, which means, games you buy online from the Microsoft Store.

    If all the games that your son has are physical format (discs), then it is better to get a normal Xbox One S. You would have to buy the digital version of any game if you want to play it on the Xbox One S All-Digital, regardless if you have the disc or
    not.

    In case you choose to get an Xbox One S-All Digital, you can transfer all the digital games and apps from your son's console to an external drive, and then just plug it to the new console to play.

    The xbox one S you are reffering to is the Xbox one S Digital, It's for downloading games only not discs you can download them from the microsoft store instead of buying via cd.
