digital games/apps wont download

Thanks for your response....I have tried all that and doing a hard reset and changing dns settings.....it only does it when I try downloading from the store....I thought it was my old xbox so i bought an s and it still did it...I have seen other people
on here with the same problem but no one posts what the solution is...to be clear my connection works fine with my ps4,switch and pc....it is clear that it is an xbox problem...thankyou

This usually occurs to my recollection if the disc you're using is damaged, and/or your connection isn't applicable to download apps/games.

Consider doing a power cycle on your Xbox to confirm this is not the case

All digital content is tied to the account that bought it.

Once your account is on your new console just go to "my games & apps" & everything you've bought will be available to download.

You wont have to buy it again.

I did it digital but it wont download due to some issue from the digital. Guess I wont be playing the beta after all

GUNNER 26: Are your games on disc or are they digital downloads?

If your games are on disc the xbox will download the patch in standby mode, but wont install the update untill you put the disc in and load the game. This is normal.

If your games are digital it will (should) download AND install the update whilst in standby.
