so i went to update fm7 which i already had downloaded. it deleted the game off my xbox and started the whole download from scratch. harddrive still has the exact same amount of space taken up so now i have an invisible game that
i cant access and have to wait literally months to play it again or drive it outta town and download it at a friends house which will still take a whole day. i dont have it on disc so i cant quickly install it again and nobody i know has the disc version.
im choked. all i wanted to do was wait 4 hours for a 266 mb update and it changed itself to 67 gb and deleted access to my harddrive. i cant view the files of the harddrive on my pc either to try and fix it so im really angry about this. 3 years since i bought
my xbox one and they still havent fixed the fact that pause update takes 5 years to register. and i have a feeling this is an old bug that still hasnt had attention brought to it because the whole games and apps version is still the same. all the console updates
ever do is move things around. nothing actually ever gets fixed. i know im going off topic here but i find the two issues link together. not everybody has nasa grade internet speed. and quite frankly im getting sick of getting locked out of the games i already
own. i should be able to play them while the update is downloading and the update should be installed after the download is finished. instead of waiting 4 hours for what's considered small and 2 weeks for the average updates. and i cant update my internet
speed either, it's the best i get in my area.

basically what im saying is with all the updates i have been forced to download in order to play online again is ridiculous. i wouldnt be mad if i could still use my xbox while im updating the console or a game. i get for some people it's only 5 minutes. but
for me it's all day. i tested that the most i can get in a 24 hour period is 4 gb. and thats on a good day. but that also means i cant watch youtube or anything while things are downloading but i cant play my xbox when its updating, or the game im updating,
until its finished. so im stuck spending my days off where i start off trying to game for an hour or two, to being forced to update it or play offline. and then i cant play games i dont have to update while im updating ones that need updating because i have
to go offline to do that too. and seeing as my internet speed literally can't keep up with the games i own(not to mention the ones i havent even been able to initially download).

im getting sick of this. when is this going to be fixed? i've brought this to attention on multiple occasians and all i ever get is the generic answers like the problem is always something on my end. like yeah i get it my internet is crap, no it cant be upgraded.
yes im using wired not wifi, yes ive tried unplugging it and plugging it back in. all that crap doesnt fix whats actually wrong with the software. there is nothing wrong with the hardware so after 4 years of the console being out there should be nothing wrong
    with the software either.

my brother bought a ps4 and when he has any sorts of updates they dont restrict his gameplay. so why as a longtime customer, am i still getiing locked out of the things i own? over the years, i have dumped about 8000 dollars into microsoft products, especially
xbox's products. i call support and nobody ever forwards the issues up, its always the customers end. this refusing to address the source of the problem is getting way out of hand.

do the people at microsoft know of these issues? and that there are many issues that still have not been analyzed, let-alone fixed? there are so many console updates and nothing ever actually changes other than the looks. i thought when i bought it "surely
all these updates will make my games stop crashing and make my functions actually function" but nope, after 3 years i still deal with the same issues.

when are they going to be fixed? are they going to be fixed? is the next xbox console gonna demand mandatory 10 gb updates weekly but function even worse? like i seriously dont understand where xbox is going. what ever happened to being able to buy the disc
at the store, drive home, put it in the console, and just play? like just an off disc installation takes long enough, but its acceptable. but all this other crap is over board. microsoft, get your act together. you want people to buy your products and tell
others they're happy with their purchase. what you don't seem to understand is that all the commercial advertising in the world won't make your products better. they have to actually work when theyre sold, not two years later and they only sort of work. i
get big companies need big money, but you're doing it all wrong. if you actually satisfy your customers, they will be alot more happy with what they bought, and then they'll buy more. if you sell them stuff that doesnt work fully, and then tell them itll work
better soon, and then make it work different but not better; they wont wanna deal with you again. im getting to this point already. the xbox 360 was phenomenal. it was so good, i never needed to buy a ps3 because it was better than that. and im not saying
to strive to be "better" than the competition, but your products should be making people smile or at least nod and think "that's pretty cool" instead you have people almost pulling their hair out. and thats people around the ages of adulthood, i can't imagine
how the 10 year olds with bad tempers react. Please, fix the damn console. it should only take a month to go through the issues. then after it actually *WORKS*, then you can move stuff around to make it look all fancy.

    :)

    not loading...black screen

I'm having the same black screen issue. I've uninstalled and re-installed the game multiple times, hard reset, everything. Nothing works, and advice from Microsoft hasn't helped either. My game is the digital copy as well, and I'm thinking something went
wrong with the update. But I don't know how it can be fixed, especially if I've uninstalled it a couple times.

    Destiny update

I am having this same issue with Diablo as well. I have fully uninstalled everything, gone through all troubleshooting steps and when I attempt to re-install the games from the xbox marketplace (digital versions) I am given a "There was a problem with the
    update" error.
