Digital Game profile locked?

Ok, so I haven't had this problem until recently (bought the game over 7 months ago) and only now when I try to play it on a different account on my xbox, it says that I am not logged into the account that downloaded it. I don't know how to fix this, but
its really irritating.

Why buy digital?

How can you sell a digital game? Please tell me. You need to create a own profile for every game, then sell the profile.

 

Family gold

I can understand the frustration but there is a way around the home xbox feature. first i will explain how the home xbox works.

no matter what console the account that has the gold is signed into it should always be able to play its digital games and use its gold.

you can set one console as your home console and any other profile on that console can play that persons digital games and use its gold WITHOUT the profile with gold and digital games being signed in at the same time.

the second line there is the key keep in mind you can only be signed into one type of console at the same time so a profile can only be signed in to one xbox one and one xbox 360 at a time.

so to work around the home console issue.

download profile with gold to both consoles

set one console as home console (that console any profile can play its digital games and use its gold) without that profile being signed in

now on the second console if the a profile wants to use the gold and digital games of the profile that owns them they would just need to make sure the profile that has the gold and owns the digital games signed in at the same time.
