    Digital Game Not Starting On PC


    I don't know what happened, but I used to play Gears 5 all the time. Now when I try to play a game it just closes everything out. It opens up the startup loading thing and closes out as soon as it is done. Sometimes the game actually starts up and then
    closes a few seconds in but even that is rare. Like I said I play this all the time and I do not know why this happening. It's 2020 and we have problems opening up a game, please help!

    I would like to preorder Digital Games

    I'm all digital and loving it. The ability to either preorder and have the DL start on the release date automatically or catching up to PC gaming and going the route of preloading would be a welcome addition.

    If digital was more prevalent the prices would fall, the sooner they come inline with PC games the better IMO.
    Digital is available on every games console with an internet connection. Just the same as PC.

    The reason they aren't inline with PC is the lack of competition on the platform digital storefront.

    Yes. FH4 is a Play Anywhere title. So since you own it digitally for the PC you will be able to redownload it and play it on the One. The saves would be stored on the cloud and will sync when you start the game.

    Gaming will move to digital eventually. The problem is Microsoft's ability to communicate why users should move to digital. Rather than saying here are a tonne of advantages for us adopting digital, they said here are bunch of restrictions so we have more
    control over your console.

    Instead of forcing people into restrictions, they need to give people a reason to start downloading games digitally. The obvious one is to start selling games cheaper as digital downloads than in retail. Take Steam for example, every time there is a massive
    sale, they attract tens of thousands of new users; the whole idea is just to get more people onto the Steam platform. Games can become so cheap on Steam and other online retailers that PC discs and used games market on is completely redundant.

    is it the digital version? if you bought the digital version then you would get it for both platforms. On your xbox go to my games and apps and see if it is in the ready to install section and download it. On pc go to the store app and in the upper right
    corner where your profile is click on your profile and choose download and updates then check and see if the game is in there and click on the little arrow to download. Hopefully this helps. To play the game on pc go to the xbox app and click on the games
    tab then click play and it should start up.
