Discus and support Digital Download is not where it should be. in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I purchased AC: Unity and was super hype to play it at 12:01 est.     Digital Download is not where it should be.


    I purchased AC: Unity and was super hype to play it at 12:01 est. After a while I was super disappointment to see it didn't release until 12:01 pst........ Basically I lost 3 hours playing when I could have gone to the store since there were no time savings!

    It also took 13 hours to DL the game at 1 meg due to the system not using up my bandwidth.....Should be an option on how much you want to allocate.

    On top of that there are no cost savings doing DD. In the end it cost you money when you can't sell your games. DD gets two thumbs down for me.

    No that is not possible. To be able to play a digital version game you should download it from the xbox live servers

    Just saw this on another site, i think this and the PSN incident should really make companies look at their security measures. Especially in an age where digital downloads are becoming more popular.

    Digital should be cheaper too. As they cut the cost of having to put it on Blu-ray disc and create a fancy case. If you're account gets banned, I also think you lose the right to own it since it's digital. And when XBL gets dos attacked by you know who,
    anything you download from XBL is reduced to dial up speeds or you get an error code.

    If a game has been out for 6 months shouldn't the digital download cost go down in price. COD Advanced is still 60 bucks for digital download but 40 at Gamestop used. For 20 I guess I can drive to the store. Greed as someone pointed out!!!!!!!!!!!!

    They won't be cheaper on release, but I could definitely see them dropping in price more regularly than they do now. Since Gamestop drops the price every month or so on games, I could definitely see MS doing this to stay competitive, rather than their current
    model of keeping the game at a set price for Games on Demand.

    in the short term no... they will be the same.. will we see DL only sales... YES... in a few years will DL versions be cheaper.. YES... and please do not give me that but the 360 DL versions are more expensive than the used copies... lets not go there again
