Digital download disc error

So I went to boot up forza 4 which I bought back in November of last year at Walmart on a digital download card, and it kept telling me to insert a disc. I downloaded it with a code so I didnt have a disc. I messaged support on here and I was told to power
cycle it and reboot it and I did that but nothing helped. The last suggestion was to uninstall and re install it. When I uninstalled it, it disappeared completely and I cannot find it anywhere. I've played the game a ton in the past with no issues. I'd like
to be able to play it again

It seems cod is downloading by disc okay its just forza and gta iv on digital download with error

How are you installing the game? Disc or digital download?

What kind of error message comes up when you attempt to download/install it?

Please check your order history https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders and make sure the game hasn't been canceled. If it's been canceled you have to contact
the retailer you purchased from.

Are you playing from a disc or the digital version? If itsfrom the disc do you have it downloaded to your console? Lots of Bethesda games have this issue and usually installing the disc clears most of thses errors

if you own the rights and if its a digital download it doesnt need a disc. However if you installed from a disc you will need that disc . Not sure if you have a digital download (I am assuming you downloaded digitally?) That you need a disc?
