Digital Copy popping up error about disc

I bought GTA V from the xbox live market place back in September, played it for a bit the realized it took up a bunch of space so i deleted it. just lately I've been itching to to play it so i went to redownload the game but when i did and went to play it
after downloading all updates, i'd get a black screen and the error about a disc is unreadable which i'm not even sure how thats possible since its a digital copy. please help. I'm currently trying one more thing but i don't think it will help and i have tried
deleting all updates plus the game and it still didn't work. (tried it twice to be honest)

Fallout 3 Digital copy disc error

From this day September 9th 2013 i have had a huge problem playing fallout 3 online and offline, for some reason i get a message popping up that the disc is unreadable but the game is a digital copy and seems to think that a disc is required. I checked recent
reports that forza horizion had the same problem and i need help in either fixing this problem or getting a refund for the digital copy of fallout 3 . Just to make sure i checked the other fallout game new vegas which is also a digital copy and it works fine
but fallout 3 seems to have a error problem and i have tried everything from redownloading to clearing the previous update and nothing seems to work. So can someone help me that works in Microsoft in fixing this problem or giving me a refund to a game that's
unplayable due to a unnecessary disc error that shouldn't exist on a digital copy of a game.

Can you post the error code & whether you have it on disc or a digital copy ?

I'm getting the same thing when I try to play MX vs ATV Alive and GTA IV multiplayer, GTA IV is installed from disc. My friend is also saying his new copy of Destiny is giving him the disc error installed and from disc.

you can buy for the digital and the disc although you will be paying for roughly the same amount. What I would do is buy a disc copy first, wait for digital to go on sale then buy digital and sell disc copy or keep it as a back up.

No lucky this is only for Minecraft, There is no error code though. What's happening is, the game loads up and when it get to the menu, it freezes right there after about a second. I have used the disc on another console to see if that was the problem and
it was not. I even purchased a digital copy because I thought maybe it was my disc. That's about all the information I have at the moment.

i am not talking about the family share . i am talking about you bought the game installed the disc and never had to pop it in again to play the game .it essentially made any copy of a game you bought digital . i assure you i am not the one that's confused
