Different game disc

I got a question if i delete my bo3 and download it with another disc would my data save

If you delete the game and download it with a different disc I don't think it will save because it is a different data disc, when you buy a used game you start off the game with the beginning of the game because its a new data disc for your Xbox, hope this helped

No, you wouldn't have to reinstall it.

The game is two discs. Disc two is game disc, disc one is install only. I installed both but it will be a matter of time if it makes any difference

That's odd because it's a physical disc game, the license is on the disc itself and not on your account. Does your friend has a different 360 disc game?

You can take and play the disc based games on any xbox one.. No limitations.. Will still need to install.. Just like it is with 360 today!!
