    Didn't receive Groove 3M promo code


    Xbox Billing support asked me to post here.

    I signed up for Groove on 16th July because of this Buy 1M get 3M free promo:
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/groove/bogo

    "For a limited time, sign up for Music Pass, and after your first paid month ($9.99) we'll email you a promo code for your complimentary months."

    "Upon completion of first billing cycle, customer will receive via email a promo code valid for 90 days of Music Pass at no charge. Limit 1 promo code per customer, single use only. Promo code must be used by August 31, 2016."

    My Groove pass was activated but I received no confirmation of the promo at the time - so checked with Xbox Support chat on 31st July, who confirmed that I would receive promo code at end of first (paid for) month.

    First month ended on 16th August and I received email from Microsoft cancelling subscription after one month and I received no code. I raised again with support, who have not managed to resolve but now recommend that I raise on this forum.

    Can you help and provide me with a promo code for 3M Groove? Thanks in advance

    Never received 3-month Microsoft Groove promo code

    I signed up for the buy one get three month's free Microsoft Groove deal on June 30 (see https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/groove/bogo) but was never mailed the promo code. I called support on August 30 and was pointed toward the Music, Movies & TV forum (Results in Music, Movies & TV - Microsoft Community),
    but didn't receive a reply there so I chatted further with support tonight and was sent here. Could a forum moderator forward me a promo code which does *not* expire tonight?

    Still awaiting a response - I can see that other similar posts are being resolved in the meantime. This is getting pretty frustrating as I've twice engaged Microsoft support prior to my post over the last 5 weeks. Please PM me and I can provide any further
    detail of the transaction and comms with Microsoft support. Thanks

    Just to clarify, you will receive a promo code via email upon completion of your first billing cycle. For further details, check out the

    Groove Music promotion     page. Be sure to let us know if you do not receive your code by the end of your first billing cycle. Thanks!

    From the Terms of Service for that Groove promotion:

    During the first 30 days, customer will receive a promo code for 3 months of Groove Music Pass at no charge. Upon completion of the promotional period, membership will be automatically
    billed as specified at signup unless cancelled. Limit 1 promo code per customer, single use only, Promo code must be used by December 29th, 2016.
    If after 30 days from starting your subscription you don't have your code yet, feel free to post a new thread and we'll take a look. Thanks!

    Do note that when you receive a code there IS an expiration date. If you haven't received your code after 30 days of membership, feel free to post up a new thread and we'll look into it.
