    Hello. I am writing to ask about the 6,000 bonus credits for spending over $60. I purchased Mass Effect Deluxe (order 2216982911) and the FAQ said it would take 96 hours but there's nothing showing yet. I asked about this previously (SRN 1377001969) and
    Kenneth P. said I was going to get them. My other chat with Denmark Lester just a few minutes ago led me here. Please help. Thank you.

    6,000 Xbox Live rewards email is a CON - To get your 6,000 Rewards Credits, just spend £36!!!

    Hi all I just wanted to inform you if you have received and email saying you will be given FREE 6,000 rewards credits from XBOX its not true and is a CON.

    It should have made it clear in the email that in order to get the 6,000 rewards > You are halfway there! Now comes the hardest part – picking which titles you will buy. To get your 6,000 Rewards Credits, just spend £36 including VAT on ANY* content .

    You're required to Spend first to get the 6,000 rewards. The email is a lie and against advertising standards, i shall be sending to Trading standards as it should be clear on the original email.

    Adding: This is unrelated to the current bug that is showing a 0 balance on accounts. The reward was not there yesterday either.

    Apologies for the confusion. There was an issue with our data source for purchase information that caused a delay. We are currently working on processing purchases and bringing Rewarding back up to normal speed. I see that we have now received your purchase
    information, and have awarded it with a Games on Demand punch. We are now processing it for Simply Rewarding, and you should see the Credits for that pending in the next 2-3 days. Again, we apologize for the delay.

    Why is it made deliberately difficult to cancel (paid for) pre-orders?

    Well, I managed to contact somebody at Microsoft support and they actually refunded me for the pre-order!!! :)

    Re-ordered the game to take advantage of the 6,000 points bonus, and they have just given me the standard amount of points you'd normally get!! :/

    So now I'm trying to get in touch with the rewards team, who to be fair, have always been quick to reply and sort things out.

    Haven't got my 2% back for the second straight month

    It never seemed to take until the 15th before. I remember consistently getting them within the first week. I didn't get any for March - when I spent more in one month than I usually do - so that's certainly convenient that I didn't get my 2%. I'll wait and
    see if I get a reward for April but I'm not holding my breath, seeing as how I still haven't gotten an explanation for why I got nothing in March.
    It has always been around the 15th.

    The staff will have to review your missing march MyVip, however is it possible you opted-in to the "Simply Rewarding" offer which gave 6,000 rewards for spending $60 on content? If you did, then that may be why you did not receive MyVip because content can
    only qualify for rewards one time so you would have received the 6,000 and not 2% (but the 6,000 would have been a better option than 2%).

    They will review your account and reply to you here. They work Monday - Friday from 9am to 5pm PST (which is why they have not responded yet). They do not work weekends.

    Microsoft Rewards only has 2 levels. And you are getting the right amount of points per $:

    "When you make qualifying online purchases at the Microsoft Store, as a
    Level 2 member, you'll earn 10 points per dollar spent, plus bonus
    points. Level 2 members with Xbox Live Gold also receive an extra 10
    points per dollar spent, for a total of 20 points per dollar spent."

    Bonus points presumably meaning points from offers etc like the often occuring "spend $30 and get 6,000 points" type offers

    Edit: Ah, I was wondering what the Star bit referred to...Xbox Live rewards accounts became Microsoft Reward accounts back in June 2018. So, you need this page:
