Did the patch for the GwG version go online in North America yet?

Not exactly a helpful statement but yes you are right this is one infuriating mess, the game is pretty much broken without the patches. Still waiting for an email about the inquiry I made to From Software I was hoping for a quick response but sadly it will
likely be a week before they get back to me probably.

Was about to post about that. Official word is as linked above. They know it exists and they have an unspecified "contacts" working on it. Did have the courtesy to say something about it after a few days and to say they will give a timeframe for a fix once
one can be established.

 

I was wondering why they didn't have the patch out day one.

 

I am pleased to see this was officially addressed and that a solution is being looked into. I was worried we would not get a patch (referring to the post on the previous page). I can now look forward to the proper targeting system I am accustomed to from
the PC.

 

Man was hoping that the official word on this matter would have an actual time frame for the fix.

 

Even more bull. I started a faith character the other day. One of the most powerful faith spells in the game is given to you by a cov. The requirements to join without the patch is 50 faith! Oh but don't worry you can make the requirement go down if you
play the co-op that doesn't work right now.

When i looked it up on the wiki it says 25 faith after the patch so i sunk all my skill points into faith to get the spells as early as possible only to find out today the game isn't patched and i actually need 50. So my character i sunk 14 hours into is
completely powerless. Im not demanding a new game like some people but i would appreciate an early patch so my character can get the spells i need to go though the game.

 

A lot of people have been complaining about not being able to patch but so far as I know if you have a disc copy, it is still possible to update. So find a friend who has the disc and use that to update the game, that is the only early patch you are going
to get from the looks of things.

 

Even with the disc, the online is still not functional, so don't think having a disc will save you.

 

Okay I put my game disc did the update, remove the disc and started the GoD version and still version 1.0 (u got only 1 humanity from well at the beginning)

 

I have the disc copy, and the digital copy that I downloaded. If you have the disc copy saves they will not load on the GWG copy. So if you want to play the new patch saves you have to play on the disc copy. Even if you have the patch for the disc version
of the game downloaded on your hard drive, the GWG copy will not recoginize any saves. The game will have a spinning circle and say you have to download the update from xbox live. (Even though I have the patch downloaded from xbox live from the disc version.
To make matters worse the disc patch version is messed up and you can't find anyone to summon anymore. I would also like to play with my buddy who has really gotten into the game, and I would love to play with him, so hopefully they will fix it. I just
wanted to point out as owner of both copies I have to play the disc verison or the patch is unuseable on the GWG copy.

 

Well then I retract my previous statement as I stand corrected on the matter.

 

They still haven't updated it for North America because I still haven't gotten the update and I live in Canada. Does anyone know why it takes so long for them to send the updates?

 

the updates are already there the update system just isn't sending them for some messed up reason.

 

I really would like to play dlc, Didn't even realize it was unpatched until now, figured I wasn't getting access to the dlc because I downloaded it midway through, was wondering wh6 there was no golem in first part of dukes archives.

So hopefully they fix this if not, I'll have to try to ask MS to credit me 15 bucks for dlc that will not work for me.
