    Hello i have had this account for a while but i have never used it until recently when i purchased sea of thieves and saw my ridiculous name, i have tried to change it and have to memory of changing it especially not to . it says 1 change
    for free but i have not received this. please i cannot play happy knowing what my name is. i do not own a xbox only a pc.

    My Gamertag was reset and I did not recieve a free name change.

    Before you read, I admit the Gamertag could be taken as offensive but have no idea how it has 'Sexual Content' in it.

    Well, one day I had went on my Xbox One and noticed my Gamertag had been changed for 'Sexual Content' being in the name. The old Gamertag was '[Mod removed]' and was reset to 'AngryCalf80130'. I was given no warning at all
    nor did I recieve a name change for my troubles. It was changed Months ago but it has only started bothering me now. Is it possible I could be given a
    FREE name change and not haved my Gamertag changed to a name like 'AngryCalf80130' so I am able to customise it to what I desire.

    Per the code of conduct that you agreed to, if a gamertag violates the code of the conduct the enforcement team will change it and you will have to pay to change it to something else. The code of conduct is your warning. There is no way to get a free change.

    What message did you recieve when loggig in under the old name??? How did you suddenly notice it was changed??? Why is it clearly an automated name??? YOU choose the name, random or not, even when forced.

    Let me see I may missunderstand----A name change and year of gold was purchased. That's what you recieved??? And it's hacked??? What evidence and how did you deduce???? I assume you filed a report??? Anyone in your home have access to the account???
    An unauthorised access report is also an option GOOD LUCK!!!

    Hi, my name is Bella. Are you recieving any error messages when you try to change your gamertag? If not, make sure the name your trying to change it to is xbox appropriate. Here's a link that might help https://support.xbox.com/id-ID/account-management/cant-change-microsoft-account-now.
    Also, be advised you do get one free name change. If you choose to change your gamertag after using that free name change>> there is a $10 fee for a name change.
