Did not receive star upgrade/ haven't got any rewards points since 1-11-17

Pre-orders are not eligible for MyVIP, and therefore not eligible for the VIP Boost offer. This is mentioned in both our MyVIP FAQ:



What content on the Xbox Store is eligible for MyVIP?

Normally, most purchases for Xbox 360 and Xbox One from the Xbox Store qualify, including full Games on Demand titles (excluding game pre-orders), arcade games, indie games, game add-ons, game Season Passes, movies, TV shows, TV seasons, themes and avatar
items. In-game consumables, Xbox Live Gold memberships, Groove Music Passes, Microsoft Movies & TV Season Passes, and the purchase or redemption of Microsoft Points or Xbox Gift Cards, still do not qualify.

Since your purchases last month went towards offers, they did not award payback. Purchases cannot award MyVIP payback and offer progress.

Are there any specific offers you're looking for credits from? In order to receive credits, your purchases either have to be eligible for a specific offer on the site at the time, or you need at least 1 star level in order to receive VIP rebates.

Well, I am VIP level 2, I usually get points for renewing gold, haven't received any. I pre ordered Gears, MAFIA 3, FIFA 17, no credits... Only thing I get credits for is survey now.

I have been a Reward member since 2010 or 11 and had no problems till this year.. And nothing has changed!

I only got 7.45 rewarded to me from you guys on 1/11/17 and you guys posted 15000 reward on my account on the 4th of JANUARY which brought it up to 15250 I should've gotten my 15.25 rewarded to me on 1/15/17 which I haven't and you guys said I was supposed
to be rewarded 23000 rewards points but if you add 7.45 plus 15.25 you get 22.70 not 23

Microsoft points were discontinued in 2013. At that time the rewards program started awarded rewards credits. In order to receive credits, your purchases either have to be eligible for a specific offer on the Rewards site at the time, or you need at least
1 star level in order to receive VIP rebates. Are there any specific offers you're looking for credits from?

I'm thinking of GTAV, but I haven't got enough points for it

You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/ .

-or-

2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

Since you do not have a MyVIP star, and your purchases did not go towards any offers, you did not receive any Rewards Credits for your purchases.
