Did not receive points with purchase

I purchased an Xbox one S in June and did not receive the 28000 points advertised on the rewards app, the purchase was made on the Microsoft store online, not a third party retailer.

Minecraft purchase - did not receive points

My grandson purchased and downloaded Minecraft on 5/9/2012 The site said that he would receive points for purchasing Minecraft. He never received them. What should we do to get them?

Support can check into the issue for you there. Although, you'll want to post from your grandson's account so they can check into it better.

I suspect that's a current promotion, right? You would only get the points for a purchase during the promotional period, unfortunately.

I don’t believe so, I had checked the rewards app several times prior to my purchase and the Xbox one S purchase was always there.

Okay, in that case, if you believe you followed the steps that the promotion required, the best place to speak with someone from Microsoft Rewards Support is to go to account.microsoft.com/rewards
and at the bottom of the page hit the link to "Contact Microsoft Rewards Support".

I’ll try that again but that’s what I did originally and the Microsoft representative sent me here for some reason.

As Smwutches says, from our FAQ:

When will my MyVIP Rewards Credits be deposited into my Microsoft account?

The total Rewards earned will be calculated at the end of each month. Typically you'll receive your MyVIP earnings in your account by the 15th of the following month, though this is subject to the program's current deposit
terms. Be sure to keep an eye on MyStatement on the
MyRewards page to track your progress and watch your Rewards Credits total grow!

We have not yet calculated the month's MyVIP, so it is too early to see the Credits pending for your Mass Effect purchase on the first.
