    Did not receive my rewards points for Xbox Gold


    I won a free month for xbox gold earlier in the week and never received the redemption code in order to activate it. It has been well over 96 hours. I need to have it entered before 1/12/18 so my son's account doesn't run out. Now that I have to go through
    this forum and do not receive direct help, PlayStation is starting to sound like an even better way to go on our next purchase. I always have had one problem or another dealing with xbox. How and who will help me with the problem this time? How long will
    this take now since you have changed the process?

    I didn't get reward credit from buying Rogue One

    I also did not receive my point reward for purchasing Rogue One on Xbox.

    The Xbox Rewards program has not had any gold giveaways lately. If this was from the Microsoft Rewards program, you would need to contact their customer support via their redemption page.

    If it was from one of the Xbox quests or another promotion from the console's dashboard, you would need to post in the sales and promotions forum for assistance.

    You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

    1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
    https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/
    .

    -or-

    2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
    back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

    In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. Also, as of July 2014, we do not award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals. MyVIP has a recalibration every year. At the end of
    the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015 and December 2016. Since you are a zero star member, you do not
    get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (https://rewards.xbox.com/myrewards/).

    Only purchases from the Xbox Store are eligible for Xbox Live Rewards. The Ghost Recon offer was a special offer for MicrosoftStore.com purchases, but that offer required the purchases of a physical hard copy, which was stated in the FAQ:

    Since your purchase was made digitally, it was not eligible for that offer. Since your purchase was not made from the Xbox store, it was not eligible for MyVIP, or for any offers. For example, the FAQ for MyVIP clearly states purchases must be made from
    the Xbox store:

    Normally, most purchases for Xbox 360 and Xbox One from the Xbox Store qualify, including full Games on Demand titles (excluding game pre-orders), arcade games, indie games, game add-ons, game Season Passes, movies, TV shows, TV seasons, themes and avatar

    I recently upgraded to gold but my rewards account wasn't recognizing it. So I haven't received points or credit for anything I've been doing for about a week. So, I contacted Xbox Live Rewards and they said there is a problem with my live account itself
