Discus and support Did not receive Halo Wars DE code in XBoX Sales and Promo to solve the problem; I pre ordered Halo Wars Ultimate Edition but have not yet received my Halo Wars Definitive edition code, I understand there is a 7 to 10 day wait...     Did not receive Halo Wars DE code


    I pre ordered Halo Wars Ultimate Edition but have not yet received my Halo Wars Definitive edition code, I understand there is a 7 to 10 day wait period but many people are having the same issue and have been waiting longer than 10 days, also alot of people
    who have complained have been helped out by support and been given a code, hope to hear from you guys soon,

    I preordered Halo Wars 2 before December 20 and I did not receive a code for Halo Wars DE.

    When did you redeem the code provided by Amazon? Once you redeem the code for Halo Wars 2, you should receive a code for Halo Wars DE within 7-10 days.

    The codes for Halo Wars: Definitive Edition will be delivered to your Xbox message center in 7-10 days from pre-order, beginning December 20, 2016



    So if you don't have your code after 10 days from your date of pre-order, feel free to post up a new thread and we'll look into it then.

    Did you preorder a physical copy of Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition or digital copy? If it's a physical copy, your code for the Halo Wars: Definitive Edition will be in the box for Halo Wars 2. If you preordered a digital copy, you'll get a code for the Halo
    Wars DE copy to your Xbox Live message center 7-10 days after redeeming your code.

    Halo Wars DE code not received for Windows 10

    Hey there,

    Codes for Halo Wars: Definitive Edition are no longer sent out for purchases of Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition. Now, anyone that purchases Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition digitally will automatically receive the game digitally. Try checking your Windows Store
    library (or your 'Ready to install' list on Xbox One) to see if the game shows up there! Be sure that you are signed into the account that originally redeemed the code, as well.

    To find your library on the Windows Store, click your profile picture in the upper left corner of the screen within the Windows Store. Keep us posted!
    I can see Halo Wars DE in my Windows Store library, however trying to install it gives an error once it tries to acquire a license (error code is 0x803F8001). I have already had a lengthy chat session with support over that error, and they said the error
    was due to my not having a license for Halo Wars DE, and that I had to come here to get the code for Halo Wars DE sent to me.
