    Did not get a Digital code for a game


    I wanted to buy a Digital
    Copy (game) for my friend on her console. I already Installed the same game on
    my Xbox One Console & got a
    Physical Copy too.
    No Digital Code was given when I bought the game today to install on
    her console. It seems I end up buying the same game again for myself. How can I install that game on to her console, so she can continue to play when I go back home after my vacation? What should or can I
    do?

    Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear about the issue with a recent purchase. If the game was purchased on your account rather than giftee the game license is now embedded in your account. Unfortunately, we do not have an available feature to transfer
    a digital game to another account.

    Xbox don't sell digital codes - it's all done on the Xbox Store and you get the games instantly.

    Where did you buy the code from? Was it from the Microsoft Store?
