    Did Microsoft block Xbox 360s from Xbox Live on 1-11-24?


    On Thursday 1-11-24 two of my xbox 360 S and my xbox 360 E stopped accessing Xbox live. I had been using daily until 1-11-24.

    Prior to the access failure I had made no changes to network settings or the xboxs. I have seen other gamers have the same problem in the past. But NONE of the recommended solutions have worked.

    I have done ALL the recommended work arounds and troublshooting, clear cache, back out updates, reserve a static IP address, tried assign/reserve ports 53, 88, 3074, etc. I reset and rebooted my Deco X55 mesh network (even reset to factory), reset and rebooted Motorola MC8600 router. Reset network on the xboxs. Manually added IP addresses and DNS info. The only thing I haven't done, but about to is take one over to a friend's home network to try. I did obviously hard boot all of my equipment.

    BTW my Xbox One has had no issues and still works fine. Did Microsoft shut down the xbox 360 servers unannounced? Thank you!

    The 360 demo for Zoo Tycoon was released on 11-24. Why hasn't it been released for the Xbox One yet? Microsoft needs to take care of the ONE OWNERS as good if not better than they do their 360 owners.

    It shouldn't hog too many resources on Xbox 1. Both Xbox 1 and PS4 have 8GB RAM, and an AMD Jaguar 8-core APU. Xbox 360 has only 512MB of RAM. So it should be possible on Xbox 1. It's a matter of Microsoft 'updating' the 'software' to be less 'windows 8'
    and more 'xbox'.

    I've got the Day One Edition of Xbox 1 and I do have to say most of the Xbox Live Features from 360 have returned to Xbox 1 due to the strong feedback to Microsoft. The only main remaining missing Xbox Live Features still missing is music maybe, and voice
    messaging. When I got Xbox 1 it was far to 'windows 8' for me, couldn't even do half the stuff 360 can. But the system has come a long was since it launched 22/11/2013. More games, several Xbox Live Features brought back which 360 has.

    One thing I've heard about Xbox 1's rep system is you can't post good rep/prefer player. I get marked down on the 360 rep for quitting early and unsporting. Other areas include language and a few others on the 360 system. I'm sure M has posted a video explaining
    how it works they did invest in the new rep system. I don't think that your rep should suffer tho, if someone blocks communication from you are blocks you if you want to follow them on Xbox Live. I've never followed someone using the Xbox 1's Xbox Live follower
    system.
