    Did I misunderstand? Borderlands 1 was to be free for Backward Compatibility


    Way back at E3 when they announced BC for the Xbone, there was a video of Major Nelson and an Xbox developer where the dev was playing Borderlands 1. Since I'm a preview member, I was pretty stoked. I also remember him saying it would be free. I saw it was
    on the the list the other day, tried to get it and it says 19.99.

    I know the games we already bought on our 360's are free but I would swear they said this would be free to everyone.

    Anyone else remember the video and hearing the same thing? If it's true they gotta reimburse everyone so please, leave a comment and let me know if I misheard

    BACKWARD COMPATIBILITY DOES NOT WORK

    i have the disk of borderlands 2 for xbox 360,today Microsoft added it to backward compatibility

    list but when i launch the game on xbox one he say that it's not a backward compatibility

    game

    old thread i know, but when they said 'free to everyone' they were referring to backwards compatibility, not borderlands...

    I think you misunderstand. I am not referring to Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition with all DLC, I am talking about the original digital version of Borderlands released in 2009. That's where I had to purchase the DLC for on Xbox 360 as it's not available on Xbox One
    Yes I know what game you were referring to. The original Borderlands was made backward compatible with its DLC included.
