    Did I get a fake Xbox wireless adapter?


    So I bought an Xbox wireless adapter for my PC so I could use my wireless turtle beach stealth 700 on it. I bought it off Amazon and when it got here, it came in a ziploc bag instead of a box. Everything on the back of the adapter is the same, except instead of an "FC" logo on the back, its a 10 with a circle around it. It sounds just as good as when my headset is connected to my series X, but it occasionally cuts out very briefly or gets quieter for like a second. The white light on it also is very bright which seemed unusual. Please, if anyone else has an adapter can you check if mine looks different. Thanks. Edit: Just returned it. Upon further inspection, the amazon page where we got it from is also different, and has a description of only 3 sentences (one grammatically incorrect!), and says that it won't come in retail packaging, but it's a genuine Microsoft product. Ehhh, I don't think so.

    Hi,

    Your adapter looks very strange indeed.

    You did well to return it to Amazon.

    On the other hand, remember to check if your controller works in Bluetooth, it will save you from having to use an adapter;)
