    Did I destroy my Xbox one? Factory reset issue


    Let me preface this by saying, I'm not a gamer, and I know I'm way behind the times, but this is my situation. I have an Xbox one that was working perfectly fine at my house with my old tv. I recently brought it to my sisters house to set it up to her relatively newer tv, and my Xbox wouldn't get passed the green losing screen. After trying everything, I tried to factory reset it. It was stuck at 50% forever and eventually, I unplugged it (yes I know I'm not supposed to do that). My questions are: • did I screw everything up and lose all my data/ games? (I chose the keep installed games/apps option) -if I plug it back in at my house, will it work, or no? -will It prompt me to complete the factory reset when I use at my house to use it again? -how long does a factory reset take? -will I survive this tragedy? I just got to chapter 4 on RD2 -error code 203????

    Thanks for the reply! I understand there is an issue with the Microsoft Edge on the console. The app is pre-installed
    and is on the operating system.

    I recommend to try doing a
    soft factory reset of the console,
    Reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

    If the issue persists, try a full factory reset.

    As I said in my post, I did two factory resets: "After tried all this, I did two factory resets (one keeping my games and another deleting all content), and the problem remains."
