    Did HDMI input disappear from the OneGuide?


    There used to be an option to select "HDMI Input" from the channel selector in the OneGuide, right between the highest and lowest channel. I have my Apple TV plugged into my xbox's HDMI in and thats how I would access it. It seems an update (maybe preview
    program only?) got pushed out that made it disappear? My xbox sees that its plugged in and is visible, but I have no way of accessing it. Does anyone else have this problem?

    HDMI splitter on XB1

    do what I did

    I put the HDMI switch after my A/V receiver

    so HDMI from XB1 to input of A/V receiver. Output of A/V receiver to input of HDMI switch. 1st output of HDMI switch to TV, 2nd output of HDMI switch to projector. gives full audio and now you have options for either TV or projector for everything that is connected to your A/V receiver

    i did not because i need more then 2 HDMI inputs.

    Audio issue

    Are you sure you have it connected correctly?

    Xbox HDMI OUT goes to one of your TV's HDMI Inputs (usually the 4K input if your tv supports it, not all inputs in your TV may be set to support 4K)

    Xbox HDMI IN gets connected to HDMI Output on your cable (set-top) box. This allows you to to use OneGuide on Xbox.

    Also make sure that your OneGuide settings are set properly as well as what happens when you turn on and off your Xbox etc.

    Simple Question: How do I switch to the TV?

    If you have the sat TV device plugged into your Xbox One's HDMI input, you can begin setting up live TV by going to "My Games & Apps", move down to "Apps", and open "OneGuide".

    Follow the steps in OneGuide to set up your live TV.

    Surround sound is disabled by default for the HDMI input. You need to go to Settings, TV & OneGuide, Troubleshooting, Audio to enable the surround sound beta.

    Is your setup Xbox to receiver via HDMI? Or is the sound going through your TV first?

    It will work, if it has HDMI output. It's already been confirmed that you can plug basically any HDMI source into the HDMI input and it will 'work', including the PS4 or Xbox 360, for example.

    the 'Xbox OneGuide' probably won't, but you shouldn't care, as the TiVo has a fully functioning EPG anyway, which will remain usable.

    Hello theganzboiiif, from what I understand in your description you are using the Display Port input, your monitor has HDMI input, already did a test by hdmi input to see if the same happens.
